![]() Optimize the figure of merit (FOM) for your interface with Vin toggling rail-to-rail (3.3 V) at 100 MHz. The output buffers formed by MN31, MP31, MN32, and MP32 drive the simulated load consisting of MN51, MP51 and the lumped capacitance C L.ฤก. The differential amplifier consisting of MP21, MP22, MP23, MN21, and MN22 acts as the GTL receiver. The termination resistor R TT acts as a pull-up device and terminates the transmission line for impedance matching. MN2 can drive the transmission line low via its open drain. The driver consisting of MN1, MP1, MP2, and MN2 delivers the signal to the tranmission line modeled by the lumped inductor L TT and capacitor C TT. Figure 1 shows circuitry for one bit of a GTL bus. ![]() The project introduces Gunning Transceiver Logic. Optimize the performance of a GTL Bus Interface using MoHAT as a design aid.
